I Don't Fit the Mold. That's the Point.

I'm Micky Mackenzie — and I'm probably not what you picture when you think “tactical expert.” I'm a femboy. A model. An actor. I wear pink, I wear cat ears, and I look damn good doing it.

But I'm also a military veteran who served in some of the most dangerous environments on the planet. I founded and ran a large armed security company. I've been in hundreds of real fights and made hundreds of arrests.

Today, I serve as the Chief Tactical Instructor at Apex Academy, where I train and certify security guards and law enforcement officers in handcuffing, baton use, OC spray, firearms handling, close quarters combat, and multi-officer operations.

The disconnect between how I look and what I'm capable of? That's exactly what Femboy Tactical is about. You don't have to look tough to be tough. You don't have to sacrifice who you are to be safe.

From the Battlefield to the Spotlight

My journey started in the military, where I learned that survival isn't about being the biggest or the loudest — it's about being the most prepared. After my service, I founded an armed security company that grew into one of the largest in the region.

Through hundreds of real encounters — fights, arrests, high-threat situations — I developed a deep understanding of what actually works when things go wrong. Not theory. Not what looks cool on YouTube. Real, battle-tested tactics.

That experience led me to become the Chief Tactical Instructor at Apex Academy, where I now certify security guards and law enforcement officers. I teach handcuffing, baton use, pepper spray deployment, firearms handling, close quarters combat, and how to work in pairs with multiple armed officers in tight spaces. The same knowledge that certifies professionals is what I bring to this community.

I'm also a certified instructor for several Red Cross and American Heart Association classes — wilderness first aid, adult/infant/child CPR and first aid with AED, basic life support, bleed stopping, medication assistance, and overdose care.

Along the way, I also embraced who I truly am. I started modeling. Acting. Living openly as a femboy. And I realized something: the queer community, especially people like me, needed this knowledge more than anyone — and had the least access to it.

That's when Femboy Tactical was born.
